Ban Rai, Thailand
I've eaten so many of pineapples in my life but only recently found out how they are actually grown and was surprised it's not trees & little bushes like on this picture instead. They are so sweet & tasty here not to mention ridiculously low price.

We were on our way to Kanchanaburi bridge when spotted this park on a map & decided to stop by. After arriving to the gates it turned out the entrance was 200 bath + 30 camp per person. Also 20 per each bike. The entrance looks nice & well maintained

On the way to waterfalls watch out for snakes & monkeys. We tried to take close photos of the later & almost got attacked / bitten by some aggressive ones. They do follow you in groups too. That's the reason why the close the trail at nights.

Named from an Elephant of a Thai story this waterfall is a piece of nature's masterpiece! You can have a swim to cool down after climbing up to see all 7 falls. Arrive before 10am or else expect plenty of tourists.

There are plenty of fish swimming in the waters various sizes some reaching 40cm & always willing to take a quick pinch of your feet - quite a weird but nice feeling. They are not afraid of people & come close if no sudden moves made.

We are on our way to Malaysia i.e. doing over a 1000km in less than 6 days to make it there before our Thai immigration stamp expires. 15 days overland visa on arrival is certainly not enough & a real pain for bike touring in such a vast country.

Some people should be really ashamed of themselves & think twice before throwing rubbish into the sea. It would have been such a nice spot otherwise...

Round the corner there was a small village & an unmarked viewpoint for sunrises. We saw a nice camp spot downstairs too.

About 50 kms from the Malaysian border we got caught up by heavy rain showers & completely soaked. Our solutions to secure backpacks against water failed in some places so we need to work on some improvements. Our jackets & trousers let water through

My Gore-Tex jacket started falling apart after 3 uses! All seals simply peeled off like banana skin so a word of advise - don't waste your money on fakes from China & save yourself the frustration. We are yet to find faults in other gear from Mae Sai

Here we are at Malaysian's border on Thai side. No one knows anything nor can advise pointing you to other booths & cause even more confusion. We go ahead stamp out first then walk around immigration booth & back to fetch the bikes then ride through.
